About

Faith Green is a singer, dancer, and actor currently studying at Oakland University, where she’s been seen doing everything from dying on a cross (Jesus Christ Superstar) to puttin’ on the ritz in a tux and tap shoes (Young Frankenstein).
Faith grew up in Wisconsin where she discovered her love of theatre at the age of 11 when she played the highly coveted roles of “grass” and “bird” in the spring musical at her itty bitty Catholic school. According to her mom she was “the most expressive blade of grass up there”, and the rest is history.
Since making the choice to pursue a career in theatre (as opposed to her second choice of attending mortuary school) Faith has had the opportunity to work with industry professionals like Danny Gurwin, Josh Young, Jacob ben Widmar, Rachel M Stevens, and Tyrick Wiltez Jones. She’s spent her time at OU cultivating a broad skillset, vocally ranging from lyrical soprano to belty-skrelty rock, and studying a variety of dance genres, from ballet, to tap, to jazz, and to contemporary. Off-stage you can probably find her watching a horror movie, knitting a new pair of legwarmers, or upcycling her latest thrift find.
